Crewed Charters
Would you like to sit back and let someone else sail the boat for you?   It can be a quiet daysail along the Toms River or trip down the bay to an interesting destination.  Short sails, full day sails, sunset cruises.  Overnight stays onboard and weekend cruises are a possibility.  We can accommodate groups as large as six.  Special packages, including corporate team building are available.

Want to celebrate a special occasion? Want to see the spectacular Barnegat Bay Sunset? Want to experience the luxury of sailing on a larger yacht?

Nelson's Charter Service will put you aboard a private crewed 28 to 38 foot sailboat for a few hours to up to a few days.  The experience can cost you only $225.00, and many options are available. Maybe help sail and learn about the operation of the boat, or just relax with your partner or friends.  It will be all for you -- just your party.  Some charterers offer you the equivalent of a bus ride:  "whoever shows up".  We offer you the limo ride approach:  "only you and your group".

Crewed Charters on "Explorer" 34' or other 28’-35’ Sailboat

$225/2.5 hr Sail, afternoon or sunset

$50/Extra Hour

$275/Dock & Dine, 3.5 hr sail to a waterside restaurant (price of food not included)

$425/Full Day, 7.5 hrs sail includes snacks & soft drinks

$450/Sunset with Overnight, includes light breakfast aboard

Please note: 50% deposit required prior to scheduling.  Tax not included.  All charters are for private groups of up to 6 person’s maximum per boat (no exceptions). 

Crewed Charters on the 30’ Catamaran “Gemini”

$290/2.5 hr Sail, afternoon or sunset

$75/Extra Hour

$365/Dock & Dine, 3.5 hr sail to a waterside restaurant (price of food not included)

$350/person (double occupancy), 2.5 day live aboard cruise to Atlantic City

$360/2.5 hr Sail, afternoon or sunset

$460/Dock & Dine, 3.5 hr sail to a waterside restaurant (price of food not included)

$350/person (double occupancy), 2.5 day live aboard cruise to Atlantic City
