Description:
This Hunter is from the lean race-inspired generation of Hunter sailboats.  It is not a heavy boat and therefore is a good choice for light air conditions.  The cabin is snug, with relatively low headroom, so it is not a great choice for weekending, but it is a place to get in out of the sun or weather, and there is ample room for a porta-potty, etc.

An overnight with a couple or a small family is perfectly doable, but the strong suit for the Hunter 23 is performance. It will often keep up with larger boats and it is fun to sail.  Daysailing with four people is comfortable, although you could get more aboard.
